The White Rose Shopping centre complex, the largest retail development in the Leeds area has been open for approx 10 years. After the initial installation and contracted maintenance cover period Grace Landscapes took over the site maintenance in 2000. Since then we have received glowing praise for our efforts.

It took us a couple of years to get the site to "Grace Landscapes" standards and once we hit that mark the awards started to roll in.

2002 saw us awarded the Spring in bloom and Summer in bloom accolade by Leeds City Council. That has been repeated in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and Spring in Bloom 2009!!

On the back of those tributes, 2003 and 2008 brought the "Yorkshire in Bloom Trophy" and 2003 also saw us lifting the "Leeds Floral Cup" for the hanging basket display and in 2004 the scheme won a BALI award in their maintenance category.

One of the most pleasing aspects from our point of view is that we have rotated the teams on the site, thereby sharing the credit amongst the workforce. However, this also shows that at Grace Landscapes all our staff are capable of working to award winning standards and try to on every single contract.
