REMPLOY award to Grace Landscapes

Eight years ago Malcolm Stockings came to work for us at Mirfield, he was 50 at the time. Whilst Malcolm enjoyed the job and it had been in his blood for several years, working for the Parks dept in Halifax, there were some taxing times for him and the Company.

One of the Grace employees, Paul Shinners, quickly recognised this and spoke at length to Malcolm and REMPLOY in attempt to help all concerned. The outcome exceeded everybody's expectations and has left Malcolm with the broadest grin in the company. A conscious effort by Paul Wayne, Malcolm's foreman, was made on his behalf to try and alleviate the pressure Malcolm was feeling. It paid dividends. Within 6-9 months he was a different character and it showed. However, it didn't stop there because others also recognised the changes and congratulated Grace Landscapes for their patience. This culminated in the Company being put forward for an award and we were fortunate to be given the highest accolade in the North eastern region.

REMPLOY went on record to thank Malcolm, Malcolm's supervisors and Malcolm's Company, Grace Landscapes, for everything they have achieved together. Malcolm is still here and can be seen every morning at 7:30am smiling and ready to go.
