The Midlands office recently completed a scheme for the Places for People organisation through Golder Associates at Beaumont Leys in Leicester.  Funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the scheme involves a new layout for the public open space in a residential area.  Following consultation with local residents, new play equipment and play boulders were installed complemented by a circular fenced seating area all linked by tarmac paths.  The area was completed with the open areas being re turfed with trees and shrubs providing all year round interest.  The scheme was officially opened on 30th October 2010 by the Lord Mayor with fun activities for the whole family along a Halloween theme.  The many positive comments were received from the local community shows that it will be well used and appreciated.
